Writing Misery
Still no progress on The Vardo Road. Several other ideas have been drafted out in my funky outline form though. On top of which we are trying to sell our condo and buy a house which is time consuming in and of itself. I've also been reading like a fiend which doesn't help my writing process since I use my writing time as reading time. As if that wasn't enough I've also been trying to build up my garb collection for my renactment stuff with the SCA. Oh well...hopefully soon.

Writing ADD
Well, let me tell you I am still not done with The Vardo Road. I've been working on it but life has been rough...I still haven't found a permanent job. I'm woeking part time at a retail store down the street and I am also the Master Electrician for Lesley University's production of The Merchant of Venice. I have, since the holidays, come up with no less than six more story ideas....and rather than jotting down the general notes and moving on I've been outlining things. My result: great story ideas that are ready for writing and waiting to be put to the page. It's taking all of my restraint to only outline them!! I wonder if this is how Danielle Steele or Stephen King feels....anyways....back to life..

Holiday Break
So I'm a terrible writer. I've taken a bit of a break from writing The Vardo Road during the holidays. I'm still stumped as to what to do and trying to think during the hectic holidays when I spent more than my fair share of time in the car didn't help. Also I've had a few ideas for other stories rattling around in my head that needed to be put down. I'm hoping now that I have those ideas out of my head, things will be easier for me and writing The Vardo Road. This is my theory at least. I can only hope that this will work in practice. I'm also thinking about taking a week off and going back to the Vineyard for a bit...to clear my head and for a change in scenery...we'll see.
